Mixed Feeling

Why am I talking bout this topic lately? Hmm, seems like these few days, this topic is hot. Forum, flashback and stuff. My lecturer once told us:

Love is evil,

Love is blind,

Love is **something**,

And it ain't worth the time.

So, I mean if the couple is happily in love, guess this won't fit the situation eh? I guess life is actually not as complicated as what we thought it to be. Humans make it complicated to live, be it love life, work life or any life at all.

I mean when it comes to love, you can't take third party's opinion right? Like, you're better to analyze the situation and the flow of your relationship. Unless the third party pretty much understand the ups and downs of your life, they don't have the right to judge a relationship right? Especially your relationship? Anyway, this has been long debated and never going to end, I pressume.

I guess that love is complicated eh? I been through a, ONE pathetic and complicated relationship and it was not a nice experience. Hope will be lost, faith will be cracked, and trust will crumble down. When we experience trobule, it is the right thing to seek advise from friends, family or anyone close to you but don't take it as a one-way solution to your problem. STOP, THINK, JUDGE. Then, make the wise decision.

I don't know why I'm being so emotional right now. I'm just having a weird mixed feeling today and it happened to reflect on one certain event. Actually, I managed to get a hold of one of my closest friend and told her bout my mixed feeling today. I'm so glad she is able to understand me and I felt better than few hours ago. She told me that "Hey, I dunno whether if it's the right thing to say but don't try to erase ****** out of your heart. Let it be there, be part of it. What you got to lose from doing that?" This is the first time anyone told me this. Previously, most is like "Forget it. Move on." I'm not a computer nor robot. I don't have the 'delete' button where I can just press it and phoof! the feeling's deleted. So, I am quite relieved that I hang on for quite some time. I know the big 'tidal wave' is coming soon, so better be prepared for it. Sooner or later...

I don't say being single is not nice. It's super cool! Being able to hang out with guy and gal friends without any worries, no jealously and stuff and being free. But sometimes, I don't know. This weird feeling comes once in a while so I just need to express it out. By blogging? Hell, yeah...

I'm blabbering non-stop now, am I? Wargh!! Audrey, get a hold of yourself! Are you being so pathetic??!!! I'm just being random and expressing my opinion and the weirdest topic, weirdest time, weirdest place. But since it's my blog, I can blabber anyting I want to right? I'm okay... I'm okay...

ICT coursework

This semester, we need to learn Information Communication Technology (ICT). This subject was okay but waarrrgghhh, too many long-courseworks!!! X_x

After finished the individual coursework of computer components and learning theory involved in teaching and learning through ICT two weeks ago, there it comes. Another coursework. Group though this time. Thank God... ^_^

We need to create a documentary about something, any topic as long as it's em.. presentable to the kids. So, our group decided to do about tourism, Malaysia of course. If we do about other country, can we call it treason? Nah.. kidding! It's just that it's easier to do about Malaysia since we have base knowledge bout it. Seriously, I learned to love our country more and more through this coursework. LoL!

Anyway, I was in-charge of the people and cuisine section. Doing the assignment makes me drools. X_x. Here, I'll show you what I mean by that.

I need to finish it ASAP! It'll make me gain weight just doing the coursework! X_X

Election 2008

Kinda shocking for the election this year. BN denied two-thirds. They got 130 seats while oppositions got 77 seats. Oppositions makes clean sweep of Penang, Kelantan, Perak, Kedah, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Sarawak is still supporting BN. BN pretty much conquers Sarawak except Kuching city which is won by DAP. That's pretty much what we Malaysians need to know bout this year election? Kinda, I think... I'm not old enough to vote yet! X_x

Arranged Marriage vs Love Marriage?

This morning we had a forum discussion about this topic. As early as 8:30am, the lecture room was hot, not because of the weather and the lack of air-cond (which the college promised to fix but didn't!) but of the topic. Mr. Dulip, our ELE lecturer was a jolly man who likes to heat up the learning process with stuff like this. Man, it was like a battlefield of words. Some agreed to arranged marriage and some stick on their opinion on love marriage. Sure, love marriage is what everyone desired but which is better actually? Hmm, I don't want to bring the topic up here. So, what do you think? LoL!

Oh ya, we had a parlimental debate after that. Did I spell parlimental correct? Uggh, my English's getting rojak. The issue is this house strongly agree that moral values best taught in school. I was getting butterflies in my stomach rather than feeling the excitement. It was fun, rebuting the oppositions and stuff when Whoops! we accidentally touched the sensitive issue of religion. The lecturer immediately stopped us. I was having a misbeat of my heart when the lecturer or the judge suddenly stood up in the middle of the debate. An opposition was mentioning about the 10 commandments of the Bible which is quite a sensitive issue. Luckily, all well that end's well. And unlucky for us, we won!! X_x

I was hoping to lose but nah! I stayed up whole night, preparing the texts and researching factual proff or evidence. Guess my hard work paid off, in an unexpected way.

Late Birthday Blog

Whee.. Not that I'm lazy ya? but am I? LoL! Just pretty packed with assignments lately and there's two major assignments for field based in a week time! X_x Am feeling pretty lazy thinking about it alright.

Anyway, I gotta do this! Thanks guys for the ever lovely presents that you guys gave me! Aww~ I'm 20! Pretty old.. quite but among my coursemates, I'm the youngest! Yippie for me~

So, first first! Kimmy gave me a kangaroo for my 20th birthday! Not a real kangaroo, silly. A plush toy. I received this like 2 to 3 weeks before my birthday? Thanks Kimmy! Then, from my coursemates, Ansie got me...

I didn't open it til 12:00am. See, I'm being patient! Though it really brings up curiousity what it's inside. LoL!

That night we had a Literature Night. Gotta dance with the candles on both hands. It was fun; dancing, singing, and blowing the candles out while dancing when it started to burn the plastic cover... O_o Anyway, the night ended quite late around 11:00pm. So, I went back to my hostel, bathed (chilly water!) and continued watching my series which I was really eager to see the ending!

At 12, many messages came in! Thanks guys! ^^ I'm thrilled that you guys remembered my birthday! Some studying overseas even messaged me! Thanks! Arigatou! Xie Xie! I'm so happy you guys remembered my birthday! I'm 20 by the way! X_x

The suprise doesn't end there. So, when I was watching the series on my laptop, boo! All my coursemates came in shouting "Suprise!" The girls only though, guys are not allowed in girls' hostel. Akta 174, have to pay $200 if got caught! X_x LoL! Anyway, they gave me a big present! Musical ferris wheel!

Thanks for assembling it up too! My roomate gave me one too! No picture though.. Back to Ansie's present! TaaDa!

It's a figurine which will shook its head non-stop powered with solar. Made from Japan! Whee! Thanks a lot, Ansie!

When I got home, I checked my mail, friendster and facebook. Thanks for the wishes again! ^^ Woo hoo! My super 20 birthday was a blast! I have to thank God for giving me a bunch of such wonderful and caring friends and coursemates!
