Laksa Sarawak

Being a Sarawakian, there is one food that I am proud to have in my hometown.

Everytime I saw this picture, it always make me drools. I love Laksa Sarawak. The fresh prawns, chicken stripes, beansprout and vermicelli along with its yummylicious sauce.

I never get tired of eating it. Every week, my mom and I would bring my grandmama to eat Laksa Sarawak. We usually go to the one at 3rd Mile Golden Arch Commercial Centre. However, last week, we went to Chong Choon Cafe's located next to the Air Asia's office. Actually both tasted similar but what I like about the Laksa Sarawak from Chong Choon is that it has less coconut milk.

This dish is a must-eat dish when you are in Sarawak, especially in Kuching!
Are you drooling now?

Chinese Astrology

The Zodiac Sign - Dragon
The Dragon Personality
Above all else the Dragon is a visionary with grandiose goals. You tend to boldly confront the mightiest obstacles and accept challenges that seem beyond the reach of others. You are not only decisive but, having made a decision, tenaciously hold onto the idea, moving heaven and earth if necessary, to fulfill your dreams. You are often flamboyant and even occasionally come across as strikingly or mysteriously different or unusual. This can be caused in part by your stylish dress and, or, your high energy level. You may also have natural leadership ability along with this talent for attracting attention. You take pride in yourself and your confidence. It is unlikely people will say you lack self-confidence.

Unfortunately, there are times the Dragon never gets beyond being a dreamer. Perhaps your big dreams are too impractical and you’re just being fanciful. At times you might appear to people as a strange eccentric or just someone who is all talk and no action. You sure can be unpredictable, and we can never know whether yours is the next great idea or just some crackpot scheme.

The Dragon Relationships
What you see is what you get. You tend to be very direct and to let people know how you feel and what you expect of them. In your search for the ideal partner, you might find yourself often hesitating to move forward in a relationship and, or, unwilling to make a permanent commitment. When you do, however, it is your intention for it to last.

There are times when it is hard to live with you. It is not unusual for you to have an excessively high opinion of yourself. This can grate on the rest of us in those moments when it is obvious to us you are superficial and your behavior tactless. And, occasionally, you can be insensitive and offensive in your speech and mannerisms. This is normally not intended but probably a consequence of your being wrapped up in your own thoughts rather than paying attention to our needs. In spite of these tendencies, you are likely to also have a warm, giving personality overall. You can be very generous to your loved ones. Also, that wonderful Dragon dynamism and infectious optimism is likely to keep you in good stead even when your behavior is not the best.

W995?

Remember about how I would always whine about my research report? Finally! It's done. Signed, sealed, delivered.. lol~ And to add to my happiness is the two weeks holiday! What to do for these two weeks? I think I'm going to be a big sloth; eat, play, sleep and do nothing for the whole week! Yippie! ..NOT.. For this holiday, I got to complete 3 projects and another article for the research.. Oh well, better than none right?

Oh and our allowance is out! Enough to last until the end of the year but not enough for my wishlist: EOS550D! :( Never the less, my hand was itchy and I managed to buy W995 to please my soul for all my hard work for the past 6 months.

I looOOooveee W995! Apart from its sleek design and two-way speaker, it is sOoooo smooth when typing messages or just clicking random buttons! I also love the bass sound for Walkman.. no static sound, loud and clear when playing music. Not to forget its 8.1 megapixel camera with auto focus. The camera is ok but I think Sony could do better. When using 8.1 megapixel, it tends to blur easily. Hence, I have to use 5 megapixel instead of 8.1. However, really.. what do you expect when the price is just RM850.00? Nice right? Well.. IMO, it's nice.. hehe~

Koizora

Have you watched this movie?

This Japanese movie was released around 2007. Well, rumor said that it touched the heart of more than 20 million viewers deeply. What else? I bought the DVD recently (saw it on a rack of a store) and watched it. Seriously, this is a nice and touching story. A super tear jerker. Recommended especially for those who have yet not watch it. Make sure to have a box of tissue nearby. ^_^

Review:
This is a story of two young high schoolers, Mika and Hiro who started a relationship through communication by cell phones over the summer vacation. The story continues on by telling how those two strives through love, hardship, lost, perseverence and challenge that comes between them.

Oil Rush!

Went out with couple of friends moments ago for dinner at Memories. Jam is everywhere! Oil rush as the petrol price hikes up to RM2.70 per litre. Wow, that's really a lot. You can see Kuching's cars are assembling themselves to the nearest petrol station. A sight not to be missed. XD

Anyway, during dinner, most favorable foods are lemon chicken rice and sweet & sour chicken rice. Not bad, I must say.

I ordered lemon chicken with rice. Yummy!

Price: Rm 5.50

Rating: 8 of 10

I must say foods and cuisine at Memories are nice. Favorable by all.

It's a nice moment catching up with friends and all especially Ivy. Been like since Form 5? That's about three to four years ago. Wow.. That's long.. And a capture of moment by the waiter.

The manager mistook Sobraj as one of the star in a movie or series and come by asking in Mandarin, "Excuse me, sir. Aren't you that guy from *didn't get to catch the title* ?"

We got blurred for a moment then burst out in laughter. Wow! Since when our friend is a celebrity? But imagine that you have a celeb as a friend, won't it be cool? I mean you might escape from paying a meal or two and gains attention from public. Oh wait, the second reason might be the con right? Yeah, privacy is kind of important. You would not want to have people staring at you when you are trying to enjoy a peaceful meal right?

On the way back, jam AGAIN! X( I managed to pull my camera out and snap a photo of the jam. Below is Satok highway.

The Happening

I hope this movie is going to be great. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan, my friend said it's either going to turn out as great or horrible (Yes, Matt. I'm referring to you. LoL~)

You can catch the trailer on the website address provided with the image. This movie will be released on June 13th, Friday. Wow, they sure know how to pick a premiere date! *sweat*

Here is the synopsis of the story:

The Happening is a paranormal thriller in which a family must survive a global environmental crisis. The film will portray the earth's vegetation unleashing airborne neurotoxins that cause all those who breathe it to commit violent suicide. The protagonist, a science teacher named Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberg), goes on the run with his estranged wife (Zooey Deschanel) and friends as hysteria grips the planet.
